Frances Bean Cobain May have More Sense Than her Parents
The parents of Frances Bean Cobain, Courtney Love, of Hole, and Curt Cobain, of Nirvana, have both experienced the downside of fame, to say the least. Curt committed suicide 15 years ago, leaving wife, Courtney Love and baby Frances behind. Frances was not yet two when her father died. Courtney has battled with drugs and mental issues throughout Frances' young life. It seemed that the child never had a chance.
Now 17, Frances Bean Cobain has been offered an opportunity that most people would jump on. Reportedly, the beautiful Frances, who is the spitting image of her father, was offered the role of Alice in Time Burton's adaptation of Alice in Wonderland. She turned the role down to go to college. It seems that the girl somehow got her head on straight and decided that the life that her mother and father chose was not one that she wants to choose for herself, at least not now. Stars that have signed on to do the film include Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, and Helena Bonham Carter.
