Mackenzie Phillips Aborted a Baby because she Feared it was her Dad's Love Child

This story just gets worse and worse.  First Mackenzie Phillips admits to a 10 year sexual relationship with her father, starting with a rape, now she admits on Oprah to an abortion because she wasn't sure if her dad was the dad or her then-husband.  This was the point in which she ended the sexual relationship with her dad.  The man is dead.  It may be in some way therapeutic to let this information out, but my god.  Incest is such a social taboo and her story is so extreme, this can't all be to sell books, can it?  She says that John Phillips paid for the abortion.

Mackenzie Phillips Slept with her Father

People reports that Mackenzie Phillips, 49, of One Day at a Time fame, had a long term incestious relationship with her father.  Mackenzie documents in her new book High on Arrival, which comes out tomorrow, that the relationship became consentual and that she doesn't want people to hate her late father.  Mackenzie's father was John Phillips of the Mama's and the Papas, he died in 2001.  I suddenly understand all of Mackenzie's drug issues.    She was last arrested one year ago for possession of cocaine and heroin at an airport.
