Ellen DeGeneres has been named by Fox as the 4th judge on American Idol. She will be sitting in Paula Abdul's seat alongside Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson, and Kara DioGuardi. This is horrible, she is not funny. I find her beyond annoying. I hope she can do this without trying to be witty. I doubt she can. It's probably time to tune out of Idol. Hopefully she proves me wrong. She will be keeping her daytime talkshow as well as doing Idol at night.
