TLC sues Jon Gosselin

TLC has sued Jon Gosselin for breach of contract following his wild lifestyle choices after his seperation with his wife, Kate Gosselin.  TLC claims he breached his agreement to behave in an appropriate manner as well as to not promote or endorse any products or services.  TLC claims he has sold photographic rights to numerous outlets as well as entered into lucrative deals with Entertainment Tonight and The Insider.

Can Jon Gosselin Get Any Lower - Cleans Out Joint Account Against Arbitrator's Rules

Jon Gosselin has reportedly cleared out his joint account with Kate Gosselin after announcing that he wanted to halt their divorce.  After being strictly prohibited to do so by an arbitrator Jon withdrew hundreds of thousands of dollars from a joint account he held with his estranged wife, Kate, leaving her with $1,000.  Kate uses that account to pay the family bills.  An account set aside for the children was not touched. 

A lawyer for Kate Gosselin has sent Jon a letter demanding that he return the money.  Court papers to the same effect will be filed on Monday.  Since the announcement that Jon and Kate were splitting up Jon has dated at least two young women, hung out with Michael Lohan, attended a VMA afterparty, called the police on Kate when she objected to his young babysitter, proclaimed that he despises Kate on National TV, claimed that Kate abused him, claimed that he loves his younger girlfriend more than Kate, been kicked off Jon and Kate Plus 8 by TLC, tried to halt divorce proceedings, and attempted to pull his kids off Kate Plus 8. 

Jon Gosselin is a Sore Loser - Tries to Kill Show for Kate and Kids

First Jon dumps Kate.  Then he frolics around with girls who are barely legal.  Then he says he despises his ex and loves his new girlfriend more than he ever loved Kate.  He calls Kate an abuser.  He tries to relive his twenties.  He acts like a total douche and hangs out with the likes of Michael Lohan. 

Then TLC dumps Jon.  Now it's Kate Plus 8.  I've monitored message board feedback on this and I have not come across one person who didn't basically say good riddance to Jon.  He's lost the public sympathy and put things on record that his kids will have to see later.  Kate has stepped up to the plate and let us see a very likeable side of her on the View.  Jon allegedly has sex with random women in the family home while the kids are present, albeit asleep. 

Now that TLC has dumped Jon he suddenly realizes that his life, as he knows it is over.  He will no longer have the money to relive his twenties and once he fades into obscurity the women will no longer be their either.  Dads of eight with no money, hairplugs, and a gut aren't really in demand.  So he tries to put a halt to divorce proceedings.  Kate, wait, I want your money back! 

My guess is that his pleas to Kate fell on deaf ears because today he's setting out to halt the show from filming his children any more.  Jon's attorney spoke to ET about the issue.  Jon has told TLC to cease and desist filming the children for Jon and Kate Plus 8 and informed them that they are not allowed on his property and that he will call the police if they do enter the property.  The attorney also indicated that Jon would likely not consent to have his children on Kate Plus 8 either. 

I guess if Jon can't have the show, no one can! 

Jon Gosselin Backtracks in a Huge Way - Attempts to Suspend Divorce

In what no one on earth could term a coincidence, Jon Gosselin has chosen the very day that TLC fired him from Jon & Kate Plus 8 to suspend divorce proceedings with Kate.  It's as if he suddenly realized that the money train is continuing on without him.  Jon does make one concession, claiming he used bad judgment in dating other women so soon after the split.  Jon and Kate's divorce was to be finalized in November.

He also is claiming that Kate's rejection of his idea to attend counseling as the reason for his behavior, claiming he was reacting to that rejection of him.  He says he's done with his crazy lifestyle and ready to be a family again.  If I were Kate I wouldn't buy it for a second, especially with his recent claims that he despises her and can't even bear to sit on the same couch as her, that he loves his new girlfriend more than her, and that she emotionally abused him for years.

TLC Drops Jon, Keeps Kate

TLC has fired Jon Gosselin from Jon & Kate + 8.  Now the show is Kate + 8 and it will debut in November.  After divorce filings, Jon has been dating girls way younger than him, hanging out with semi-celebs, and acting like he's 17.  That's what you get for being a tool, Jon.  Apparently his new image didn't fit in too well with TLC.  Good for them.  You know Jon, you had our sympathy in the begining, why did you have to make us understand why Kate has such distain for you?

Jon Gosselin Plays the Victim - Says He Despises Kate

John Gosselin has recently proclaimed that he despises he ex-wife to the point where he will not even sit next to her during filming. He has recently come forward and stated in very colorful ways that he didn't like the way she treated him. I think "beat me down... like a lame fish" was my least favorite. Simply because lame almost always refers to an inability to walk, and of course fish can't walk! If all fish are lame, it's redundant.

I have recently been reading articles where Jon blames everything from his age when they were married, to her systematic ways, to her beauty all as reasons that he fell into marrying Kate. He was no baby when they married, he was 22, definitely old enough to make that decision. He had claimed that he didn't expect the relationship to go anywhere due to their age difference. Kate is only two years older than him. I know he acts like he's 14, but he's not. If he wanted a system he could have hired a personal assistant. As to her beauty, no one should expect anyone to feel for them when they marry for looks. In one article he said he was married, had twins, had septuplets, and bye bye twenties. So what? These are choices. Everyone makes choices in their lives. It doesn't mean that you get to go relive your twenties later.

In this information age where everything is available at the click of a button it's no stretch to say that these kids will eventually see these statements, the ones that makes it look like he resents and regrets having them, and the ones where he says that he despises their mother. They will also have an opportunity to watch every episode of this show and form their own opinion as to their parents relationship before the divorce. If he would have shut up and behaved he would have had the public in his pocket, and the children would likely not blame him for the divorce. Now he has repeatedly verbally attacked their mother, in the press. Not good.

The Reality of Lindsay Lohan

The air is abuzz with rumors that Lindsay Lohan is doing a reality show. Apparently it's supposed to cover her comeback. Reality shows are not a place to gain respect, they are a place to put yourself so other people can laugh at you. Britney Spears Chaotic was a joke, she came off as more stupid than anyone could have ever imagined, and then divorced and went insane. The Anna Nicole Show was an amazingly sad train wreck that was hard to look away from. The Whitney and Bobby show, "Being Bobby Brown" showed a very undignified look at Whitney Houston. Jon & Kate Plus 8 likely caused Jon and Kate to crash and burn and Jessica Simpson was ridiculed following her newlyweds show with Nick Lachey. The show might have contributed to their divorce as well.

The point is that reality shows don't seem to be very healthy for people. Lindsay has had major struggles with drugs in the past and the cameras have caught her sobbing openly about her relationship. Lindsay is a fragile type person as it is. She doesn't seem to have a super firm grip on sobriety or her emotions, so this kind of show could have devestating results. Just something to think about.
