Mrs. McClusky has Operation to Cure her Lung Cancer

Kathryn Joosten, who plays Mrs. McClusky on Desperate Housewives, had an operation today to remove a cancerous growth on her lung in her second bout with lung cancer.  She was diagnosed with this cancer in early September.  The doctors believe that the cancer was contained and that they got all of the cancerous tissue and do not plan to do radiation or chemo at this time.  They will be monitoring her every few months by CAT scan to be sure.
