Manu Ginobili Killed a Bat Live On Court During a Halloween Spurs/Kings Game

 The Sacramento Kings were playing the San Antonio Spurs when suddenly a bat appeared on the scene.  It was flying around the court when the game went into a "bat delay."  On this Halloween night the players and fans were all swatting at the bat whenever it got close to them.  After a few minutes Manu Genobili had enough and when the bat flew by again he reached up and swatted the bat to the ground, where it laid, apparently dead.  Genobili then picked up the bat and walked it over to an usher, who took it off his hands.  After a squirt of hand sanitizer the game was back on.  PETA is going to be all over this one.

Ryan Seacrest's Alleged Stalker Arrested in Ryan's Work Building with a Knife

Ryan Seacrest has a scary, scary stalker.  Seacrest's lawyers obtained a temporary restraining order against Chidi Benjamin Uzomah, Jr. after he allegedly entered the E! Entertainment building with a knife on Friday, leading to his arrest.  Uzomah has previously been arrested for attacking one of Seacrest's bodyguards.  Uzomah tried to intercept Ryan at a different radio station earlier this month, but Seacrest does not record there.  There will be a hearing on November 17th to decide if a three year stay away order will be granted.  Uzomah is being held on a $150,000 bond.

Big Brother 9 Winner Adam Jasinski Ordered to Be Held Without Bond

Adam Jasinski had a detention hearing on Friday.  At this hearing Judge Leo T. Sorokin ordered that Jasinski be held without bond, determining that the Big Brother Winner is a flight risk.  He is charged with possession of Oxycodone pills with intent to distribute.  Jasinski could get up to 20 years in jail and a $20million dollar fine if convicted. 

Andre Agassi was a Loser and We Didn't Even Know It

Andre Agassi, 39, was one of the best tennis players in the world before he retired in 2006.  He is now the latest celebrity to air his demons to the world.  He recently wrote a book that revealed that he did crystal meth for about a year starting in 1997, even testing positive for it and lying about it, and wore a hairpiece to supplement his famous long locks.  Is nothing sacred?  Agassi was married to Brook Shields from 1997 to 1999.  In 1991 Andre married Steffi Graf, they are still married today and have two children.

Randy Quaid and His wife Evi Don't Show up for Court - Extradition Sought

Randy Quaid, 59, and his wife Evi were supposed to be in a Santa Barbara court on Thursday afternoon face charges for running out on a hotel bill.  There is an active arrest warrant for both of them, they have been given multiple chances to show up for court and have not complied.  Senior Deputy District Attorney, Lee Carter, has said that his office will seek extradition of the Quaids from Texas.  Randy Quaid is the brother of actor Dennis Quaid.  Randy Quaid is best known for his role as Cousin Eddie in the National Lampoons Vaction movies.  Randy and Evi married in 1989, she is his second wife. 

Dennis Hopper has Prostate Cancer

Filmmaker and actor Dennis Hopper, 73, has prostrate cancer, according to his manager.  He has cancelled all future travel plans to focus on treatment.  Dennis Hopper has been married five times, his current wife is Victoria Duffy.

Michael Lohan's Save Lindsay Media Tour Continues, Now He has Voicemails from Lindsay's Mom

Michael Lohan has been on a one man media blitz lately, telling everyone who will listen that his daughter, Lindsay, is addicted to prescription drugs, even claiming that he will kidnap her to make sure she gets help.  Michael has been on Access Hollywood, The Insider, and The Maury Povich Show in an attempt to get help for Lindsay.  She has been looking pretty haggard lately. 

While Michael Lohan has been telling anyone and everyone about Lindsay's alleged addiction, Lindsay's mom, Dina, has been publicly saying Lindsay is fine.  Lindsay herself says she's scared of her father and getting a restraining order.  To prove a difference in Dina's statements regarding Lindsay in public and in private, Michael is going on Entertainment Tonight and playing Dina's voicemails, which reportedly contain recordings where Dina calls Michael frantically, claiming that Lindsay is going to die and she doesn't have much time left.

Is There Really an Autopsy Photo of Michael Jackson out There?

Photo's of Michael Jackson's autopsy are being shopped around the internet.

His eyebrows are tattooed and skin is ashen in color. His lips are flat, wide and without lipstick. A scar on his left cheek is visible because concealing makeup had been cleaned from his face. Jackson is lying on his back on a metal autopsy table. The picture was taken at a 30-degree angle toward the left side of the corpse.

The photos are reportedly in the hands of a Los Angeles restaurant owner who got them from  police friend.  These are professional pictures, not cell phone snaps.  Time will tell if the rumors are true.

Rosie O'Donnell Thinks She Had a Shot With Angelina Jolie

Rosie O'Donnell, 47,  told Howard Stern yesterday that she could have had something with Angelina Jolie.  She says that she got intimidated by the amazingly hot Jolie, who was married to Billy Bob Thorton at the time.  Rosie apparantly bases her idea that Jolie wanted her on the fact that they talked on the phone two or three times and planned to go to dinner, which they never did.  She said she still has dreams about Jolie, you and the rest of the world, Rosie. 

In that same interview Rosie admitted that her marriage is rocky and that she and her wife, Kelli Carpenter, 42, may end up splitting up.

Chris Farley's Post Mortem Commercial

Chris Farley and David Spade are on a new Direct TV commerical.  Chris Farley has been dead since 1997.   He died of a drug overdose after he combined cocaine and morphine.  Chris Farley was close friends with David Spade when Farley was alive.  This commercial is modeled off the actors' Tommy Boy characters.  Chris Farley's family are supportive of the commercial and call it a great tribute. 

Susie Feldman Files for Divorce

Corey Feldman's wife, Susie has filed for divorce.  The couple recently starred in The Two Corey's where Susie showed her ability to control her 38 year old  husband and act like a complete bitch about Corey Haim.  Susie is asking for sole custody of the couple's 5 year old son, Zen, as well as spousal support.  The pair were married in 2002 on an episode of  The Surreal Life, the ceremony was co-ordained by a rabbi and M.C. Hammer.  Corey Feldman starred in Stand by Me as well as the Lost Boys, among a host of other films.  As a teen he played with Michael Jackson at Neverland, and he recently created waves when he came to Michael's memorial service dressed as Michael, whom he was estranged from.  To be fair, Corey often dresses like Michael, and has even before his death.  Corey was previously married to Vanessa Marcil.

Amy Winehouse Flashes Her Nipples, and They're Scary!

Amy Winehouse recently got new boobies.  I've been trying to ignore them, even when she wore a mostly unbuttoned pink shirt, that said Blake's Girl on it, to show them off.  Now it seems she's resorted to just letting them flop out all over the place at the Q awards in London.  They reportedly cost £35,000.  They look like two balloon coming out of her chest.  Also, I think her nipples are orange.  You can see the pics after the jump...

Khloe and Lamar Decide to Get Inked Together

Newlyweds Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom got matching tattoos on their hands.  Khloe's says LO and Lamar's says KO.  Careful, tattoos last a lot longer than most Hollywood marriages!  Tattooing someone's name on you is known the kiss of death in a relationship.  These one's are on the hands, they will have to look at them every day, or look at scars where they were.  See pics of the new tattoos here!

Dressing Trashy Must Run in the Cyrus Family

Noah Cyrus, 9, showed up for the Dream Halloween Party dressed like...um, Miley Cyrus.  No, maybe it's a dominatrix, no maybe a skanky witch...hmmm.  Who names their daughter Noah, anyway?  In an outfit that would make a hooker proud, Noah strutted her stuff on the red carpet.  This is not the first time Noah has been dressed far too sexy for her age.  Billy Ray, did you pick out this outfit? 

Brad Pitt in Motorcycle Accident

Brad Pitt tumbled off his motorcycle today after hitting a parked car.  What precipitated the crash is up for debate.  Of the stories out there: he was weaving in and out of traffic and hit the car, no one else was involved; he was cut off by a photographer and was forced into the car; and he was bumped from behind by paparazzi and knocked into the parked car.

Reports are that the scruffy father of six, and significant other of the beautiful Angelina Jolie, was angry after the crash and took refuge in a nearby apartment complex while he waited for assistance.  He's fine, the bike is just a little damaged and wouldn't restart.  Given the number of pictures of the scene, it does appear paparazzi was at least present.

Morrissey Collapses on Stage During Opening Song - Hospitalized

Singer Morrissey, 50, collapsed on stage in England Saturday.  He had to be dragged off stage.  The ambulance service said that they did get a call to attend to a 50 year old white male who was having respiratory problems and was unconscious, he did become conscious by the time paramedics got there.

Morrissey was performing This Charming Man, his opening song, when he slumped to the floor, the lights went down and he was dragged off stage.  The audience was told that he was ill and had left, they responded by booing, due to the fact that he is notorious for canceling concerts. 

Morrissey was taken to the Great Western Hospital in Swindon, where he remains in stable condition.

The Octomom May Be Pregnant Again + She Has a Crush on Jon Gosselin!!

Please make it stop!  There are rumors flying that Nadya Suleman is pregnant again.  No word on how many are in this litter.  If this is true it's a mental disorder, it has to be.  Obviously, the top pics were from when she was preggo with the octuplets.  The mom of 14 had said she was done after having 8 babies in January.  Here's pics of her posted on TMZ just recently.  Hiding a baby bump under a ummm...baby bump?

Nayda has recently said that she kind of has a crush on Jon Gosselin and thinks he's hot.  The last thing either of them needs is more kids.  Between them they have 22, so far.

Michael Lohan to Seek Conservatorship for Lindsay, Failing That He'll Kidnap Her

Michael Lohan has reportedly said that he is going to attempt to seek a conservatorship over his daughter, Lindsay Lohan due to his belief that she is addicted to prescription drugs.  In his own words to photo agency X17: "I’m going to see the judge this week…If I can’t get a conservatorship, then I’m going to take her to an undisclosed location and get her straight. But I know I’m gonna get charged with kidnapping."

Michael Lohan has been very active on Twitter lately with his attempts to "save Lindsay."  This has included posting pictures of Lindsay in a very unflattering light to prove his point and engaging in twitter wars with Perez Hilton over Michael's public handling of this matter, as well as encouraging people to post the hashtag #savelindsay.  Lindsay Lohan  is persuing a restraining order.  Michael does not have the support of his ex-wife Dina in this matter.  Michael Lohan has recently deleted all of his former twitter messages, replacing them with a single statement: "I don't have a twitter - ml" 

Lil Wayne's Plea Deal on Gun Charges Will Land Him a Year in Jail

Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. aka Lil Wayne was charged in connection with a 2007 arrest for violating a New York's gun law.  He a guilty plea yesterday to a violent class D felony of attempted criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree.  He will be sentenced to one year in jail under the plea deal.  This will likely translate into 8-10 months of actual time served. 

Rapper Lil Wayne, 27, has three children with a fourth on the way.  Lil Wayne is also facing charges in Arizona, regarding drug and gun possession, which are expected to go to trial in April.  Lil Wayne is due back in court in New York in Decemeber and expected to begin serving his sentence in February.

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz Off of Melrose Place

Singer Jessica Simpson's little sister, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, 25, needs to start looking for a new job.  The singer/actress has been appearing on the new Melrose Place as Violet Foster, she will be off the show in January according to the CW.  Colin Egglesfield, a Tom Cruise lookalike, who plays Auggie, will be leaving at the same time.  Simpson-Wentz is married to Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy.

Hulk Hogan Considered Suicide Over Divorce

In Terry Bollea, aka Hulk Hogan's new book My Life Outside the Ring he stated that he had taken a cocktail of Xanax and Rum and had picked up a gun with his finger on the trigger when the phone rang.  Apparantly that phone call saved his life, it was Laila Ali on the other end.  Apparantly he was distraught about how the family would look when his wife Linda filed for divorce following his son Nick's high speed accident that left his friend John Graziano needing high level medical care for life.  Why the 56 year-old Hulk thought it would be a good idea to to make his suicidal thoughts public, I have no idea. 

Kanye West is Not Dead

Super douche Kanye West has been rumored to be dead today.  He's not, it's an internet hoax.  There was no car accident.  Kanye's girlfriend, Amber Rose, posted on twitter:

Lindsay Lohan Wants her Dad to Go Away

Lindsay Lohan's father has been telling anyone that will listen that Lilo has a problem with prescription drugs and he wants to stage an intervention.  Now Lindsay is saying that she is in the process of getting a restraining order against her dad to keep him from showing up uninvited and unannounced at her Los Angeles home.  Michael recently said that Lindsay is vacant inside, she doesn't sound vacant, she sounds mad.

Adam Jasiniski, Big Bother 9 Winner Arrested

Adam Janinski, 31, decided to invest his $500,000 Big Brother winnings by using them to buy oxycodone and resell the tablets.  Jasiniski was arrested in Boston on Saturday for attempting to sell 2,000 oxycodone pills to a government witness.  In an affadavit he admitted that he had been using his winnings to buy and sell oxycodone on the East Coast for several months.

Adam caught media heat and lost his job working with autistic children at the United Autism Foundation (UNIAF) when he referred to the children he worked with as retards early in his season on Big Brother.

Adam faces up to 20 years in jail and a $1million fine if convicted.

David Hasselhoff to Get a Reality Show??

A&E confimed to ET online that they are in talks to do a documentary series about David and his kids.  The opportunites keep coming for this guy.  I hope the show's title is, Getting Daddy to Rehab or something similar.  Hasselhoff has gotten a lot of media attention for his multiple trips to the hospital due to alcohol posioning.  David Hasselhoff is 57, his girls are 17 and 19.  One is in college.  Hasselhoff's claim to fame comes from his roles in Knight Rider, Baywatch, and America's Got Talent.

Madonna Sued by NYC Neighbors

Madonna, 51, is being sued by neighbors in the building that her Manhattan apartment is located in.  Neighbors say that she is using her apartment as a rehearsal studio, causing the walls to shake and vibrate, stomping, and extremely loud music to be heard outside the confines of her space, often for three hours a day.  The board of the building says that it has already threatened to evict Madonna.  You would think a woman of her means could afford to rent a studio to rehearse.

Roman Polanski Removed from Swiss Jail, taken to Zurich Hosptial

Roman Polanski's attorney has confirmed that the child rapist has been taken to a Zurich hospital.  He is undergoing a series of medical tests.  After his tests are completed he will be returned to the jail.  His attorney said his condition is not of exceptional gravity.  That's good, he needs to live to be punished for the crime he ran from so long ago.

TLC sues Jon Gosselin

TLC has sued Jon Gosselin for breach of contract following his wild lifestyle choices after his seperation with his wife, Kate Gosselin.  TLC claims he breached his agreement to behave in an appropriate manner as well as to not promote or endorse any products or services.  TLC claims he has sold photographic rights to numerous outlets as well as entered into lucrative deals with Entertainment Tonight and The Insider.

Avril Levigne Files for Divorce

Avril Levigne has filed for divorce from her husband, Deryck Whibley.  The couple announced that they were going to divorce last month.  Avril filed in Los Angeles citing irreconcilable differences.  The couple were married for three years and have no children.  Avril did not ask for spousal support in the filing and has indicated that she does not want to pay any to Deryck, who is the lead singer for Sum 41.

Fred Durst Filed For Divorce

Fred Durst, frontman for Limp Bizkit, has filed for divorce from his wife of three months.  Durst was married in Las Vegas and filed for divorce in Las Angeles.    Durst, 39, was married to Esther Nazaroy.  The couple separated one month into the marriage and announced the seperation on twitter.  Fred Durst has two children, both from previous relationships.

Is Lindsay Misbehaving Again?

Lindsay Lohan has been ordered to come to court tomorrow regarding an alcohol education program she was ordered to participate in after her 2007 DUI.  Lindsay Lohan also received 36 months of probation in that case.  If it is found that she has violated her probation she could go to jail.

Officials running the alcohol education program expressed concerns about Lohan's complience to the court following media reports suggesting that she violated the terms of the program. 

Keanu Reeves is Not the Daddy

In September Keanu Reeves agreed to give DNA to prove that he is not the father of a Canadian woman's four adult children.  Karen Sala filed a suit against Reeves last May claiming that he is the father of her four children.  She was asking for child support retroactive to 1988 and spousal support retroactive to 2006.  Reeves has maintained that he has never even met the woman.  Even DNA is not enough to stop Karen Sala.  She is appealing, saying the DNA test results are invalid.

Man Waits in Line to Punch Leona Lewis in the Face

Bleeding Love singer Leona Lewis, 24, was doing a book signing of her new autobiography, Dreams, at Waterstone's in Piccadilly, London.  A 6'5" man apparantly waited silently for five hours for an autograph, when he got to the front he handed her his copy of the book without a word.  He waited for her to lower her head to sign the book and punched her in the side of the face.  She screamed and was immediately taken, in tears, to a nearby hospital to check for signs of a concussion.  Her boyfriend, Lou Al-Chamaa, had to be restrained from approaching the man, described as a buck toothed bumpkin, who hit Leona.  She has indicated that she would like to press charges against the man who hit her.  The 29-year-old foreign man was arrested at the scene, as of right now he is known only as Peter. 

Jon Gosselin has to Pay Some of the Money Back : $180,000

Jon Gosselin has been ordered to pay $180,000 of they money that he took from a joint account with Kate.  The withdral of $230,000 was prohibited by a prior arbitration order.  The money must be returned by October 21st, or Jon will be held in contempt of court.  I wonder if he even has $180,000 left.  Jon is now claiming that Kate has taken over $1million.  Kate is also required to account for her expenses on October 26th. 

Today Jon Gosselin tweeted "Today was a long day. Today the court divided my family, today I watched a mother and father lose their son. Today I watched my best friend's daughter lose her father. Today I lost a great friend!!! RIP JF. Let's remember to live everyday like it was our last."  Our condolences to Jon for losing a friend today. 

Last weekend Jon had a friend over to play.  He introduced Michael Lohan to his kids.  Then they had talks about the reality show they have been planning, The Divorced Dad's Club.  While Michael Lohan was there he tried to get Jon to join the Celebrity Boxing Federation, Jon said no, and rode Jon's dirtbike around the property.   I heard a rumor the other day that Lindsay is again not returning Michaels calls and he's calling media and gossip columnists to try to get them to talk to her for him. 

Tommy Lee Asks Another Classy Lady to Marry Him

Italian topless Model Chiara Salvadé says she's been dating Pamela Anderson's ex, Tommy Lee, for several months and he's asked her to go on tour with Mötley Crūe.  She also said that he asked her to marry him.  His reps say they're just good friends.  We will see.  He married Pam one month after they met.

Tommy Lee, 47, has been married three times.  He was married to Elaine Erwin Bergen for one month in 1984.  He was married to Heather Locklear from 1986-1993.  His third marriage was to Pamela Anderson from 1995-1998.  He pled no contest to kicking Anderson while she was holding their son, Dylan in 1998.  The couple also have another son, Brandon.

Fergie REALLY Loved Ectasy

Black Eyed Peas singer and solo artist, Stacy Ann Ferguson better known as Fergie, spoke to OK magazine about her battle with drug addiction.  According to the 34 year old singer, “it started with ecstasy. I loved ecstasy. Loved it, loved it. It was great at first, then it just went…” [she mimes a crashing plane].  Then the Glamorous singer moved on to a crystal meth addiction.  After a run in with a drug dealer and a gun she eventually got clean and has been for ten years. Fergie married Josh Duhamel of Las Vegas fame in January of this year.

Rob Thomas Classified as Mom-Rock and He's Okay with That

Rob Thomas is reportedly okay with being told that his style of rock is for moms.  Rolling Stone recently said he will never be cool.  Rob Thomas says he's 37, a mom age, and it's good that he's playing for people his own age.  Rob Thomas is, without a doubt, one of the best songwriters out there, amazingly talented.  So what if he doesn't want to pretend he's 14?   I don't know exactly what makes Rob Thomas uncool in Rolling Stones' eyes.  Rob Thomas thinks it's because he does mainstream rock.  I happen to like him myself, although I will admit at the one concert of his I did attend I was suprised by the number of baby boomers swaying in the audience.  I thought he was more my generation, I'm 32 by the way.

Roman Polanski Doesn't Like Jail - Cry Me a River

Roman Polanski's lawyer says that Polanski, 76, is tired, depressed, and dejected since being arrested and placed in a Swiss Jail.  His lawyers have been unable to get him released on bail because he's a huge flight risk, based on his past behavior.  If his lawyers continue to be unable to get him released on bail he will stay behind bars in Switzerland until extradition is decided.  This is likely to take quite some time because he refuses to just man up and deal with his crime.  He is fighting extradition.  He raped a 13 year old girl after luring and drugging her.  One would think at 76 he would have grown up and have some remorse.  What a vile creature he is.

Adnan Ghalib Pleads No Contest to Leaving the Scene of an Accident

Britney Spears ex, paparazzi Adnan Ghalib pled no contest in court yesterday for leaving the scene of an accident.  As a result of the plea deal two other felonies charges against Adnan in connection with the accident will be dismissed. 

Last February a process server was trying to serve a restraining order on Adnan obtained by Britney Spears father.  Adnan drove his car toward the process server, the process server jumped on the hood and fell off.  Adnan then drove away.  The process server broke his wrist in the fall, along with other injuries. 

Adnan Ghalib faces up to a year in jail for the charge. 

Soulja Boy Arrested for Running From Police

Soulja Boy was reportedly filming a music video Wednesday night at an abandoned house.  After receiving complaints of minors in an abandoned house police came to the scene where they reported that about 40 people were in a dark backyard.  About half of them ran despite an order to stop by police, including 19-year-old Soulja Boy, real name DeAndre Cortez Way. 

Eventually Soulja Boy returned to claim his white Range Rover which he had left at the scene.  At that point officers charged him with obstruction for running when they told him to stop.  It's a misdemeanor, but he did have to spend the night in jail.  He bonded out Thursday morning on a $550 bond.

Rick Springfield, who sang Jessie's Girl and plays Dr. Noah Drake on General Hospital, will be showing his 60 year old ass on Californication.  He's going to do a four episode arc, getting naked at the end.  People, know when to say when.  No one wants to see that!

David Hasselhoff Drunk Again - In London

David Hasselhoff reportedly started his drinking binge at Simon Cowell's birthday bash.  He then drank for several days in his London hotel room.  Eventually he started peeing the bed and his assistant called for a doctor.  Hasselhoff 'accidentally' hit the doctor and had to be physically forced into the basement by hotel staff at the ultra-luxe St Martens Lane Hotel until the ambulance came.  He was then admitted to the Capio Nightingale Hospital which runs £1,000 a night.  He spent two nights there in a private suite.  The Capio Nightingale Hospital is a private mental health hospital that also treats addictions.

Amy Winehouse Considering Moving Again - Neighbors Don't Like Her, But she's Hot for Halloween

Amy Winehouse moved into a $2.3million house at Hadley Wood, North London when she returned from St. Lucia.  Apparantly she has been throwing loud parties and recording at four a.m. which has caused her neighbors to complain.  Amy has said that she's not happy there anymore with her "stuck-up neighbors" and may move again because she likes to record in the middle of the night. 

In other news, the hottest halloween accessory on ebay right now....an Amy Winehouse beehive wig, some of the listings even come with black wax to make your teeth appear to be missing, Amy tattoos, and tacky earrings.

Guy Ritchie still loves Madonna, Calls her Retarded

The Material Girl's ex-husband Guy Ritchie, 41, admitted in a recent interview that he still loves Madonna, 51, and responded to a statement she made in the midst of their divorce last year about her knowing someone who is emotionally retarded. His response was that she's retarded, too.  Birds of a feather flock together, I suppose.  Or at least they did.

Guy and Madonna share a son, Rocco together, along with a son that Madonna adopted near the end of their marriage, David Banda.  She has two other children, Lourdes, who was born to Madonna and Carlos Leon before her marriage to Guy Ritchie, and Mercy James, who was adopted after her divorce from Guy.

Lindsay Lohan Addicted to Prescription Drugs? Her Dad Says Yes!

Michael Lohan has reportedly said that Lindsay is addicted to prescription drugs and he is concerned for her life.  He went on to say she can't act right now because she is vacant inside.  Didn't Michael Lohan just get back into Lindsay's life after being estranged for talking to the media about things instead of his daughter?  Some people never learn.

Mel Gibson has completed three years of probation and got his DUI expunged.  Although it's off his record the term Sugar Tits will live on forever in our hearts.  Here's his mug shot, for old times sake.

Elizabeth Taylor Having Heart Procedure

In her own words "It's very new and involves repairing my leaky valve using a clip device, without open heart surgery, so that my heart will function better."  She is requesting any prayers that people have "lying around."  I love her to bits.  I'm sure she'll do fabulous.  She has promised to update when it's all over.   

MTV is going to air DJ AM's Show

Gone Too Far is the MTV show that Adam Goldstein, aka DJ AM, had just finished filming at the time of his death.  It features Goldstein stages interventions on drug addicts to help them recover.  Since he did overdose with a mix of crack and prescriptions he needed an intervention himself.  MTV says that they have the support of Goldstein's family.  I think it's gross.  It's a rating ploy.

That said, it will be watched.  America loves a train wreck and this is one of spectacular proportions.  The recovered drug addict helping people get into recovery falls into a downward spiral of drug addiction himself and ends up dead.  People will be watching for the first hint that there's something wrong, talking about it, it will be huge, and exploitive.  The series consists of 8 episodes.
