Adam Lambert Humps Someone's Face, Kisses a Man on TV: People Get Upset

Adam Lambert gave a performance at the American Movie Awards that was extremely reminiscent of David Bowie's over-the-top performances.   He was pretending to hump a male dancers face one minute, then moving on to lead leather clad men around on leashes with a whip.  Near the end of the song he grabbed his male keyboardist and kissed him fully on the mouth.  He also flipped off the audience.

People are upset, ABC has reportedly logged about 1,500 complaints.  However, he was the last act of the night, airing around 11 pm in most places.  The FCC general rules cover only between 6am and 10pm but leave open the possibility of fines after this time period for obscene material.  ABC has said that the offending material was not included in Lambert's rehearsals. 

Some people, including Adam Lambert, are saying that the uproar is a double standard because women have done the kiss before, at award shows.  There may be a double standard but I would also like to point out a distinction.  The other award show with the Madonna/Britney Spears kiss was the MTV Video Music Awards, MTV is a cable channel, ABC is a broadcast channel and as such, is generally held to higher standards by the FCC. 

Kevin Federline to Be a Daddy Again

Kevin Federline, 31, has reportedly gotten his girlfriend pregnant and he's not happy about it.  This will be baby number 5 for Kevin, who has two children with Shar Jackson and two children with Britney Spears.  Kevin's girlfriend is Victoria Prince, 26, who is way hotter than him, she's a beach volleyball player.  Britney is said to be quite upset about the news.

Adnan Ghalib Pleads No Contest to Leaving the Scene of an Accident

Britney Spears ex, paparazzi Adnan Ghalib pled no contest in court yesterday for leaving the scene of an accident.  As a result of the plea deal two other felonies charges against Adnan in connection with the accident will be dismissed. 

Last February a process server was trying to serve a restraining order on Adnan obtained by Britney Spears father.  Adnan drove his car toward the process server, the process server jumped on the hood and fell off.  Adnan then drove away.  The process server broke his wrist in the fall, along with other injuries. 

Adnan Ghalib faces up to a year in jail for the charge. 

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are Done

Justin Timberlake has finished yet another long term relationship according to US Weekly.  I wonder if he'll write a song about this one.  Justin dated Jessica Biel for 2 years, before that he was in a long term relationship with Cameron Diaz, and before that he was in a long term relationship with Britney Spears. 

Now that Brit Brit is sane again and divorced this clears the way for the golden couple to get back together, they're both fabulous right now in terms of careers and that would make Britney's comeback story complete. 

He apparantly broke it off with Jessica by phone about a month ago, but she's been holding out hope for a reconciliation.  Get ready Justin, you are now America's most eligible bachelor.

The Reality of Lindsay Lohan

The air is abuzz with rumors that Lindsay Lohan is doing a reality show. Apparently it's supposed to cover her comeback. Reality shows are not a place to gain respect, they are a place to put yourself so other people can laugh at you. Britney Spears Chaotic was a joke, she came off as more stupid than anyone could have ever imagined, and then divorced and went insane. The Anna Nicole Show was an amazingly sad train wreck that was hard to look away from. The Whitney and Bobby show, "Being Bobby Brown" showed a very undignified look at Whitney Houston. Jon & Kate Plus 8 likely caused Jon and Kate to crash and burn and Jessica Simpson was ridiculed following her newlyweds show with Nick Lachey. The show might have contributed to their divorce as well.

The point is that reality shows don't seem to be very healthy for people. Lindsay has had major struggles with drugs in the past and the cameras have caught her sobbing openly about her relationship. Lindsay is a fragile type person as it is. She doesn't seem to have a super firm grip on sobriety or her emotions, so this kind of show could have devestating results. Just something to think about.
